The White Coat Ceremony for the new MBBS students (Batch 2025–2026) of Sri Chamundeshwari Medical College and Research Institute, Channapatna, was held on 24thOctober 2025. The programme which symbolizes the beginning of a noble journey with a commitment to compassion, care and lifelong learning in the field of medicine was coordinated by Department of Biochemistry.
The white coat represents purity, empathy and noble duty to heal and serve the mankind. Overall, the White Coat Ceremony is a powerful reminder of the noble purpose of medicine: to heal, to serve, and to uphold the trust that patients place in their doctors. It sets the tone for who the students are becoming, both as clinicians and as compassionate human beings.
