MD Community Medicine Course has the advantages of Involvement & Practice in Cognitive (Knowledge) Domain, Psycho motor (Practical aspects) Domain, Affective (Attitude) Domain of Preventive, Primitive & Curative aspects of Health.
It has the added advantage of jobs in Health Planning & Management Services, technical assistance to Government Health Services, besides functioning as General Physician. Moreover it gives good scope for being as an administrator in public & private health services.
Candidates from outside Karnataka State must get Migration certificate from respective State & Eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Candidates of minority status should have certificate from appropriate authorities.
