Inauguration Day
Saturday, 7th March 2026
The much-awaited annual fest Aavishkar 2026 commenced with great enthusiasm and vibrant energy at the College Block of Sri Chamundeshwari Medical College, Hospital and Research Institute on 7th March 2026.
The event was made possible due to the unwavering support of our beloved Founder Chairman Dr A.C Shanmugam, the Managing trustee of Sri Ranga Educational trust Smt. Lalitha Lakshmi, President Sri A C S Arun Kumar, Executive Director Dr. S Vijayanand, and Medical Director Dr. Naveen S. The encouragement from the dignitaries of Sri Chamundeshwari Medical college, Hospital and Research Institute: Principal Dr. Pravin G U, Medical Superintendent Dr. Roshan Kumar B N, and Vice Principals, Dr. C P Nanjaraj and Dr. Manjula A Patil, were also of prime importance to the event’s success.
Mismatch Day

As part of Aavishkar 2026, Mismatch Day brought vibrant energy to the campus, with students and faculty participating in creatively mismatched outfits. The college premises were filled with colour, humour, and unique fashion combinations, reflecting the fun spirit of the theme.
The day was marked by lively interactions and photo sessions that captured memorable moments. In the afternoon, competitions such as Solo Classical Dance, Face Off, and Debate were conducted, with enthusiastic participation from students.
Mismatch Day added a joyful and creative dimension to the fest, making it a memorable highlight of Aavishkar 2026.
Barbie vs Oppenheimer Day

The celebrations continued with the lively theme “Barbie vs Oppenheimer Day,” bringing vibrant energy to the campus. Students and faculty participated enthusiastically, dressed in pink Barbie-inspired outfits and formal Oppenheimer-style attire, creating a visually engaging atmosphere.
Themed photo booths added an interactive element, allowing participants to capture memorable moments. The afternoon featured a range of cultural competitions, including Movie Recreation, Mime, Solo Singing (Non-Classical and Western), Solo Western Dance, Debate Finals, Customising Clothing, and Theme-Based Photography.
The day was marked by energetic participation and creativity, making it a fun and memorable highlight of the fest.
Halloween Day
Wednesday, 11th March 2026
Aavishkar 2026 took a spooky turn with Halloween Day, as the campus transformed into a festive and eerie setting. A specially designed Halloween Corner, along with themed decorations and a creatively adorned bike, became major attractions. Students and faculty showcased impressive costumes, makeup, and face art, adding to the excitement of the day.
The celebrations continued with competitions such as Duet Dance, Duet Singing, Mono Acting, Mad Ads, Vocab Vomit, Slam Poetry, and Photography events. In the evening, Kho-Kho and Basketball finals added a competitive sporting spirit. The day stood out as a fun-filled and thrilling highlight of the fest.
Western Day
Thursday, 12th March 2026
Western Day brought style and energy to the campus, with participants dressed in creative Western-themed outfits. The atmosphere was lively, filled with photo moments and enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.
The afternoon featured competitions like Group Dance and Group Singing, along with the Throwball Finals, combining cultural expression with sportsmanship. The day reflected the vibrant and dynamic spirit of Aavishkar 2026.
Ethnic Day
Friday, 13th March 2026
Aavishkar 2026 concluded on a grand note with Ethnic Day, as the campus was adorned with festive decorations and participants dressed in elegant traditional attire. The celebrations, held in the auditorium, began with a welcome address and ceremonial lamp lighting.
The cultural evening showcased group dances, drama, and a fashion show, highlighting the talent and creativity of the students. The festivities peaked with a concert and DJ night, while food stalls added to the celebratory atmosphere.
The fest concluded with joy and togetherness, leaving behind cherished memories and celebrating the spirit of unity, creativity, and camaraderie.
