FDP on EmpowerSim 2.0 – Simulation Based Medical
The Faculty Development Programme – EmpowerSim 2.0 (Simulation Based Medical Education) was organized by the Department of Medical Education Unit on 12th August 2026 from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM at MEU Hall, SCMCH & RI. The session was facilitated by Dr. Shubha S, Associate Professor, Department of Anaesthesiology, who served as the resource person and delivered an engaging and interactive programme focusing on simulation based teaching methodologies, standardized patient training, and crisis resource management.
The FDP was attended by more than 65 faculty members representing pre clinical, para clinical, clinical, Nursing, and Paramedical departments, ensuring rich multidisciplinary participation.
