Woman’s Day Health Camp in RGUHS 2025

Background:
The camp was conducted on the occasion of International Women’s Day, a day dedicated to celebrating and empowering women worldwide. Recognizing the importance of prioritizing women’s health, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Health Sciences, Bengaluru in association with Sri Chamundeshwari Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Channapatna, had organized a health camp to address the unique health concerns faced by female staff. The initiative aimed to promote awareness and provide essential health screenings, particularly emphasizing early detection of breast and cervical cancers. By aligning the camp with this globally significant day, we underscored our commitment to women’s well-being and reinforced the message that investing in women’s health is vital for building healthier communities.
Objective:
- To provide comprehensive preventive healthcare services to the female staff of RGUHS, ensuring early detection and intervention for potential health issues.
- Promote awareness and screening for early detection of breast and cervical cancers.
