Women’s Cricket League at RRGI
The Women’s Cricket League, a first of its kind at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, took place on the 11th and 12th of March as part of the institution’s week-long celebration of Women’s Day. The event saw 11 dynamic teams taking part with enthusiasm and excellent team spirit.
In an intense and competitive series of matches, Sri Chamundeshwari Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute (SCMCH) showcased exceptional skill and determination. The final match, which saw SCMCH face off against RRCE, was a nail-biting thriller. Though SCMCH ultimately secured the runners-up position, finishing second in the league, their performance was nothing short of outstanding.
RRCE won the first place, while RRMCH won the third place.
Kudos to the SCMCH team for their dedication and hard work! We eagerly look forward to more such participations by the women of our institutions in the future and hope that this event continues to inspire our students to excel both on and off the field.
