Workshop on “AI in Medical education”
The Department of Community Medicine & Medical Education Unit (MEU), Sri Chamundeshwari Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute (SCMCH&RI), organized a Hands-on Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education” on 22nd December 2025 (Monday) at the MEU Hall, in association with IAPSM-KSC from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Around 30 faculty members from various departments participated in the workshop.
The workshop was designed to empower faculty members with practical knowledge and live demonstrations of AI tools for teaching, assessment, and content creation. The program emphasized the integration of platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity into everyday academic practice, enabling participants to explore innovative approaches to lesson planning, presentation design, and student engagement.
The event was graced by the Dr. Pravin G U (Principal), Dr. Roshan Kumar (Medical Superintendent), and Dr. Yashaswini M K (MEU Coordinator). The organizing chairperson was Dr. Sheethal M P, Professor & HOD, SCMCH&RI.
